20 Years of Green Valley: Built to Evolve

In 2006, Green Valley began with a vision for what manufacturing in Honduras could become.
Twenty years later, that vision has grown into a manufacturing platform shaped by global companies, thousands of people, new industries, changing technologies, and a simple reality: what manufacturers need today is very different from what they needed two decades ago.
Our job has been to evolve with them.
As operations became more sophisticated, so did the talent supporting them. As clients grew, infrastructure and services had to grow with them.
And as environmental responsibility became increasingly important to the future of manufacturing, it became an important part of how we developed Green Valley.
That commitment led us to pursue standards such as ISO 14001:2015 and LEED Gold certification, strengthening the way we approach environmental management, infrastructure, and long-term industrial development.
The evolution can also be seen in the industries that call Green Valley home.
Over two decades, the platform has developed a strong manufacturing base, including a significant automotive cluster, alongside textile and other industrial operations.
Today, more than 12,500 people work across Green Valley, with that number expected to continue growing as existing clients expand and new projects arrive.
But perhaps the most important thing 20 years has taught us is that a manufacturing platform is never truly finished.
Every new operation brings different requirements. Every expansion asks something new of our infrastructure, talent, services, and team. Every change in global manufacturing gives us another reason to keep improving.
That is how Green Valley has grown since 2006: alongside the companies and people who have chosen to build here.
Twenty years gave us a strong foundation.
Now we’re building what comes next.
